BMLL wins ‘Best Market Data Provider’ at the Capital Markets Technology Awards APAC 2025
London / New York, 4 July 2025: We are delighted to announce that BMLL has won the ‘Best Market Data Provider’ at the Capital Markets Technology Awards APAC 2025. These A-Team Insight inaugural awards recognise the innovations and solutions that are reshaping the region’s technology in the capital markets landscape and showcase breakthrough achievements across the financial enterprise.
BMLL was awarded ‘Best Market Data Provider’ for its continuous expansion and growth over the last year. In October 2024, BMLL secured a $21 million strategic investment led by Optiver, with participation from CTC Venture Capital and existing investors. This follows BMLL's $26 million Series B investment from Nasdaq Ventures, FactSet, IQ Capital’s Growth Fund and Snowflake Ventures in 2022/2023.
Having invested heavily in expanding data coverage for many years, BMLL’s historical market data now covers more than 100 trading venues, spanning global equities, ETFs, futures and US options - its equities offering covers 100% of the MSCI World Index. BMLL recently added six years of unconflated nanosecond OPRA options data to its coverage.
Over the past 14 months, BMLL has significantly expanded coverage across Asia Pacific, adding data from Shanghai, Bombay and NSE India, Korea, Taipei, Thailand, Taiwan, New Zealand, and ASX 24 futures. BMLL gives market participants the ability to compare venues globally, and analyse full order book data at unprecedented levels of granularity.
Paul Humphrey, Chief Executive Officer, BMLL, said: “We are delighted to receive this recognition as Best Market Data Provider in APAC. Over the past year, we have expanded our data and analytics capabilities throughout Asia Pacific to deliver comprehensive Level 3 coverage. Adding APAC data coverage benefits buy-side firms who are looking for alpha in Asia markets, as well as sell-side execution firms aiming to enhance their product offering by leveraging high quality Level 3 order book data and analytics. Asia exchanges can perform venue comparisons against their peers, locally and globally, to better understand market quality and the performance of liquidity providers.”
BMLL data and analytics are available via the BMLL Data Lab (for quants); the BMLL Data Feed (for those who want to receive specific analytics) and BMLL Vantage (a powerful market microstructure visualisation platform).
