BMLL appoints Brad Hunt as Chairman of the Board to accelerate global growth following Nordic Capital acquisition

London / New York, 29 July 2026:  BMLL, the independent provider of harmonised, continually engineered historical Level 3, 2 and 1 data and analytics for Capital Markets, today announced the appointment of Brad Hunt as Chairman of the Board.

With a 30-year track record of developing and transforming financial data businesses. Hunt most recently served as CEO of Rimes Technologies, where he led their business expansion from benchmark data management into enterprise data management and investment solutions, and their successful sale in 2024. Prior to this, he ran strategy and business development for Global Markets at Bank of New York Mellon, following senior strategic roles at IHS Markit and Goldman Sachs International in London.

Hunt succeeds Lee Hodgkinson, who will remain on the board as an independent Non-Executive Director (NED). Hodgkinson, currently Group Chief Strategy Officer at Saudi Tadawul Group, previously served as CEO of Euronext London and Head of Markets and Global Sales, and CEO of global derivatives trading firm OSTC.

Hunt joins existing board directors, including recently appointed US-based independent NED, Spiros Giannaros. Spiros brings three decades of fintech and scaling expertise. He currently serves as CEO of Gresham Technologies, and previously as CEO and President of Charles River Development, Executive Vice President at State Street Bank, and Partner at IHS Markit.

Additional board directors include Paul Humphrey, CEO, BMLL; Nigel Medhurst, CFO and COO, BMLL; David Samuelson, Partner, Nordic Capital, and Dan Rosenberg, Managing Director, Nordic Capital; and Optiver representative Hilde Kaemingk (NED), Director at Rambutan Capital.

These appointments follow the recent acquisition of BMLL by Nordic Capital in October 2025. The strengthened board brings enhanced expertise that will accelerate BMLL's expansion and deliver greater value to financial market participants globally.

Paul Humphrey, CEO, BMLL, said:I am delighted to welcome Brad to BMLL as our new Chairman. When Nordic Capital came on board, we made our intentions very clear, and we continue to deliver on this mission. As we accelerate our global footprint and continue to help market participants make sense of shifting market dynamics, Brad's deep industry expertise will be invaluable as we scale. I also want to thank Lee Hodgkinson for his excellent stewardship as Chairman and his continued dedication to the firm as an independent Non-Executive Director, and welcome Spiros Giannaros as our US-based independent NED, further strengthening our governance.”

Brad Hunt, Chairman of the Board, BMLL, added: "I am incredibly excited to join BMLL at such a pivotal time following the Nordic Capital acquisition. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about solving industry-wide issues of data complexity and cost. BMLL has built an enviable reputation for delivering the industry's highest quality historical data products, allowing institutions to execute complex data strategies cost-effectively. There is a clear, growing appetite among market participants for this depth of insight without the traditional operational overhead. I look forward to working with Paul, the Board, and the Nordic Capital team to scale our presence globally and help our clients leverage unique data, analytics and advanced workflows to truly optimise their investment and trading strategies."
