Brad Hunt

Brad Hunt is a leader of innovative growth businesses in wholesale capital markets, spanning electronic trading, data services, and financial technology with over 30 years of experience. Brad was CEO of EQT-owned Rimes Technologies from 2021-2025, where he led Rimes business expansion into enterprise data management and investment management solutions, culminating in a sale to Rothschild Five Arrows in 2024. Prior to joining RIMES Technologies as Chief Executive, Brad ran strategy and business development at Bank of New York Mellon - Global Markets, where he led business and digital transformation. Prior to BNYM, Brad led the data division for IHS-Markit for APAC, and was global co-head of equities, where he led the acquisition and integration of Data Explorers in 2012, and had sole responsibility for the Index Management, Dividend, ETF and global PMI economic research businesses. Brad joined Markit after a notable ten-year career at Goldman Sachs International in London, as Managing Director, where he created and headed the firms’ electronic trading business in equities and listed derivatives. Prior to Goldman, Brad spent seven years with Instinet in Hong Kong and London, where he was head of sales for Asia, and as Director of strategy and business development for Europe respectively.
 

Brad maintains an active involvement in the financial technology and data segments and serves as an advisor to several large private equity firms in London.
 

He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia (1988), with a BA in International Relations. He lives with his family in Surrey, UK
